These classes offer our teen actors a chance to put their talents to the test with specialized coaching in acting, voice, movement and even auditioning.

Join SteppingStone Theatre as you create your very own webisode. Learn how to write a script, create a story board, and more.
You become the screen writer, director, producer, and actor. Work in teams to create something rare and exciting.
On the last day of class there will be a special VIP screening of your show for your family and friends. The show will be posted on YouTube and SPNN (Saint Paul Neighborhood Network) so you can go online and tune in to relive the magic again and again!
Broadswords with the Bard

The lashing of words meets the clashing of swords! The entire class will tackle one of the most famous and challenging scenes from the world's most well-known playwright while learning the basics of sword play.
Working as a group, everybody gets to play the lead and everyone shines when you show it to your family and friends in a performance the last day.

Broadway Bound: The Circle of Life

This class is perfect for you if you're a musical theatre veteran, or new to the stage!
This summer join SteppingStone Theatre's famous Broadway Bound class as we bring the sounds, sights and stories of The Lion King, Beauty and The Beast, and The Little Mermaid to life. Come with us as we explore the songs, dances and puppetry of these renowned Broadway Shows.
Have fun as you work with a director, music director, and puppet-master to stage your own Broadway inspired musical where everyone gets a part.
Throughout the process, you will also have workshops on auditioning, voice, and movement and theatre movement.
Invite your family and friends to view your hard work in a phenomenal performance on the last day.

In this class, learn everything you need to know to get out there and audition. Maybe you've never auditioned for a play before. Maybe you've been auditioning for years, but you need a new song and a monologue.
In this class you will receive:
• Audition tips and instructions from local actors and directors in our theatre community
• Vocal coaching and sheet music for a song that is right for you and your voice
• A monologue that fits your acting range
• Dance moves 101, where you are exposed to the basics for any dance audition
