Beat Boxing + Stage Makeup

Beat Boxing: Each afternoon, learn the basics of Beat Box. Explore rhythm and musicality as you use your voice to create unique sounds, rhythms and lyrics. 

Stage Makeup: Each afternoon, learn how to design and apply Stage Makeup. Application techniques for Animal, Old Age, Fantasy, Scrapes/Bruises, and more are explored.

      > Note: We use high-quality Ben Nye makeup products. Please list concerns in notes section of registration.

 

>There will be no final performance for these workshops.

Develop your theatre technique in these skill-based, workshop-style classes. Explore Acting, Dancing, Singing, Music, Movement, technical skills like Stage Makeup or Puppetry and much more. Lead by specialized teaching artists, these afternoon workshops pair perfectly with our morning Create-a-Play classes for a well-rounded week of theatre immersion.

SKILL-BASED LEARNING IN GRADES 1-3 LOOKS LIKE:

  • Learning skill-specific vocabulary & concepts at an age-appropriate level
  • Understand concepts though warm-ups, games, exercises, and explorations
  • Scaffolding & building-upon concepts to eventually achieve mastery
