We believe students who have frequent access to high-quality Arts Learning opportunities strengthen their ability to hone crucial life-skills in critical thinking, social/emotional development, physical awareness, and a sense of Mastery. Our classes, staffed by professional artists, create space for youth to explore theatrical skill-sets while enhancing self esteem, and developing a strong sense of community.
SteppingStone Theatre offers school-year programs in the evenings, on Saturdays, and over school break days for young creators ages 3-18. Additionally, SteppingStone offers extensive summer learning opportunities which allow students to express their creativity during their time away from school. Students in our programs will develop theatre skills through a supportive, non-competitive environment designed to build mastery, independence, generosity and belonging.
Designed as your child’s first theatre arts experience! Caregivers are invited to the first part of class for interactive songs and stories while the remainder of class is a hands-on creative drama exploration. Children build skills through creative play!
Join us for sessions focused around beloved stories where children learn theatre basics like physicalizing characters, and exploring themes and scenarios, all in an age appropriate way through creative drama play!
Teen classes refine theatre skills in acting and vocal technique, stage direction, and movement while cultivating rich, collaborative experiences as an ensemble. We focus on artistic growth while learning about the larger context of Art in our lives.
Homeschool Programs are committed to nurturing the artistic and imaginative lives of all children. Our classes are a great way for students to interact with other students in the community while building crucial life-skills and honoring artistic endeavors.
