Homeschool Programs

At SteppingStone Theatre we are committed to nurturing the artistic and imaginative lives of all children. Our classes are a great way for students to interact with other students in the community. We believe students are creative beings, and children who have frequent access to high-quality Arts Learning opportunities strengthen their ability to build crucial life-skills in critical thinking, social/emotional development, physical awareness and a sense of Mastery. While emphasizing our core values:  creative exploration, mastery, compassion, and healthy self-control.

Homeschool Theatre Explores Ages 18 months-3: Colorful Creatures

January 30, 2018

9:00am - 10:00am

This class uses SST’s early learner theatre curriculum with a toddler twist! The first four classes are inspired by the colorful creatures of Eric Carle including titles: The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Mixed Up Chameleon. The last three weeks introduce and explore socio-emotional skills inspired by books like Sophie Gets Really Really Angry and Leonardo the Terrible Monster.

Homeschool Create-A-Play Ages 8-12: Lights Out!

What happened when the lights curiously went out? It’s a mystery! Someone or something is behind this mischievous deed. Only our team can crack the case! Homeschool Theatre Explores Ages 18 months-3: Let’s Create! Let’s Play!

This class uses SST’s early learner theatre curriculum with a toddler twist! This class is inspired by stories with an interactive art component. We’ll explore visual picture books inspired by the art-making process by Herve Tulle like, Let’s Play, Mix it Up, Press Here, and The Game of Shadows.
