School for Young Actors
We are proud to be in our new theatre home for our classes!

We've got two stages, great studios, and other class spaces that are worlds above anything we've had before. A major reason we created our new home is to bring our classes under the same roof as our shows, and starting this winter, we finally have!

SteppingStone Theatre’s mission is to build self-esteem and self-confidence and we live that mission everyday. We believe strongly that each and every child is unique and brings a new and different way of thinking and expressing.

Our classes are structured to spark creativity and increase ability. We focus on the process of making theatre, meaning that how we get to the final day is as important as the final presentation itself.

Students will learn about setting, character, plot, problem, and solution (the where, who, what, why and how of drama) and apply that to creating a play from the ground up. Rather than being assigned a part in an already formed script, students work together to create what they will perform on stage.
