Create-A-Play© for Grades K-6
Create-a-Play©: This class is great for natural storytellers. Students will create a play using one of the themes on the opposite page. Students will learn the basics of story structure, character building and working as an ensemble. By the end of their class, students will have a short play to share! (Minimum 6 Contact Hours)
Beginning Acting: Bursting with creativity and imagination this class is a great place to start learning the tools for acting.
Improvisation: Students learn to think on their feet, work as an ensemble, and learn building blocks for creating theatrical characters.

Suggested Themes
Tales from Around the World©: Each class period students will read a different international folktale and then use creative movement and dramatics to bring the story to life.
Superheroes: The local chapter of Super Heroes for Good, has united to rid the world of rudeness and bullying throughout the land!
A Pirate’s Treasure©: Set sail for a voyage you won’t forget! Pirates and landlubbers will come to see if treasure maps lead to fabulous riches!
Fractured Fairytales©: Mishaps, Mayhem, and Mischief! The pigs are in the castle! Seven Dwarfs are climbing up Rapunzel’s hair!!! What else could happen in this silly twisted tale?
Whodunnit©: Calling all detectives! Grab your magnifying glass and dusting powder. Follow the clues to solve the mystery.

Pricing
$50 per class-hour, plus 1 hour for planning; supplies and material costs not included. Payment is due the last day of the class! Cancel in writing at least one week before the first class at no charge! Prices valid through 8/31/08

For programs occurring further than 15 miles from downtown St. Paul, we strongly recommend programming no less than 2 consecutive hours. Additional fees may apply.
