💻 Grades 7-12: Documentary Theatre Project

March 15 - April 15, 2021

4:00pm - 6:00pm

Documentary Theatre | Designed for grades 7 through 12

Do you want to stand at the intersection of social impact & theatre to discover unheard perspectives around a common story? Join director, Kivan Kirk for a deep dive into Documentary Theatre, a performance development process that is a powerful catalyst for conversation, examination, and social action. You and your cohort of teen artists will select a topic or issue so that you can identify subjects to interview or research and devise a script based on your findings. Together, your cohort will present our collaborative theatre piece to be recorded and edited to share with friends and family.

We Believe

Young people are artists, makers, and doers.

They need to belong and to contribute to their world.

When young people make art together, they change themselves and the world around them for the better.

We Do

SteppingStone ignites belonging, generosity, mastery, self-advocacy, and inspiration by creating art with young people to share with the world.
