Hybrid Experience: In-person and online! AM Explore Performance will meet in-person each day from 9:00am-12:00pm with all safety precautions in place. PM Skills Classes will meet online in our Virtual Studio each day from 2:30pm-4:00pm.

You’ve read the books, you’ve seen the movies, now it’s time to create the musical! Create and Perform an original show based on the theme: A Potter-verse Musical! Explore Music and Dance and incorporate what you’ve learned into your final performance.
Immerse yourself in a Devised Theatre rehearsal process as you create, stage, and perform an original short musical! Inspired by the class theme, and under the guidance of your Director, work with your class to develop the show’s setting, characters, dialogue, staging, choreography, and song lyrics. Throughout this process-driven class, engage in rehearsal practices, and theatre games/activities to sharpen your foundational performance skills. On the final day of class, perform your original work!
This class is perfect if you’re into: Singing & Dancing PLUS Harry Potter Books, Harry Potter Movies, Harry Potter Costumes, Harry Potter Games, Wands, Cloaks, Magic, Witches, Wizards, Feeling deeply connected to your House Identity, Talking Hats, or having super-awesome friends who love adventures as much as you do!
> A Class Sharing will be held on the final day of class. For the safety of all, we will record this Sharing and distribute a video link so that all family & friend can enjoy!
> Come prepared: dress in layers & closed-toe shoes. Pack a water bottle & snack.
Explore Skills (2:30pm-4:00pm online in our Virtual Studio):
Music: Vocal expression & basic technique are introduced through a selection of musical theatre, pop, and original songs to be incorporated into your final class performance.
Dance: Learn expression, basic technique, and vocabulary as you create choreography to be incorporated into your final class performance.
For the Caregivers: Did you know theatre learning extends well beyond the stage? In our classrooms, your Young Artist is exercising their abilities in literacy, story structure & sequencing, communication, creative thinking, critical problem-solving, cooperation, active listening, self-advocacy, teamwork, decision-making, compromise, public speaking, generosity, empathy, and community building. Theatre is powerful!
