August 10 - August 14, 2020
9:00am - 12:00pm
In-Person Experience: this class will be held in-person at SteppingStone with all safety precautions in place.
They call me a Gumshoe, ‘cuz I’ve got gum on my shoe. We’ll follow the clues and crack the case as we investigate stories which develop critical thinking. Join us for a week-long class specifically designed for preschool & kindergarten Theatre Artists. Our Teaching Artists encourage interpersonal and presentational skills through storytelling and creative play while fostering social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development. With minds, bodies, and voices engaged, Young Artists express themselves through story creation, music, creative movement, dramatic play, and art-making to enhance skills in theatre fundamentals, early literacy, communication, creative thinking, cooperation, active listening, and community building.
Books we’ll explore: I Lost My Sock!, Pigeon PI, Secret Agent Splat, Alphabet Mystery, Betty’s Burgled Bakery, and There’s a Monster at the End of this Book!
> A Class Sharing will be held on Friday. For the safety of all, we will record this Sharing and distribute as video link, so all family & friends can enjoy!
> Pack a snack! There will be a snack and bathroom break during class.
> Students must be potty trained to participate in this class.
