Description

November Theatre Explorers-

Saturdays: November:7, 14, 21, 28 & December 5.

Parent/Child: Theatre Explorers: Colorful Creatures. Step into a playful world where stories come to life, and little ones lead the way! Join other families live on Zoom to sing, move our bodies through stories, and create simple artwork together. Young artists build relationships as they engage in parallel play with other children, improve communication, and learn through hands-on inquiry guided with themed stories.

This class includes a kit of everything you need for class, neatly packed, so all you need to do is open the box! It’s chock-full of sensory story props, instruments & making materials to inspire play and connection between you, your child, and other children on Zoom.

This event is PAYA (pay-as-you’re-able). This class costs $75 per student for us to put on. During this trying financial and emotional time for families, SteppingStone programs are Pay-As-You’re-Able. If you can afford full price programming or to help support other families’ attendance, we will be able to provide more programming that provides joy, hope, and connection to young people at a price they can afford through the COVID Crisis.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

At SteppingStone, we are committed to access and inclusion for all people. We stand firmly in opposition to racism, and our programs challenge our young artists, staff, and Board of Directors to foster inclusion and seek equity for all, including Black people, Indigenous peoples, people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, people of all economic backgrounds, people of all religions, and people with disabilities. SteppingStone collaborates with families to meet students’ needs, whether they are social, academic, developmental, or physical.

We Believe

Young people are artists, makers, and doers. They need to belong and to contribute to their world. When young people make art together, they change themselves and the world around them for the better.

We Do

SteppingStone ignites belonging, generosity, mastery, self-advocacy, and inspiration by creating art with young people to share with the world.
