THEATRE LEARNING IN PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN LOOKS LIKE:
Using your body to express ideas
Pretend play with pantomime
Learning simple theatre exercises and vocabulary
Inspired by your child’s favorite books, young artists work together in a process-oriented environment, to explore theatre foundations like physicalizing characters, story sequencing, and theatre vocabulary. Our Teaching Artists engage students in rich creative exploration to promote artistic growth while fostering social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development. On the final day of class, family & friends are invited to a Class Sharing of creative drama exercises, book scenes, favorite songs, creative movement, and artwork made throughout class.
